About
Mindfulness of Sleep and Dreams
-- Courage is built at night --

Mindfulness
Mindfulness can be defined as "paying attention to what's happening, while it's happening, without judgement or preference."

In Mindfulness of Sleep and Dreaming, we're paying attention to the night time experience, while it's happening, without judgement or preference.
Experience
Everyone's experience of the night time is unique.

One night we might struggle to fall asleep or have a frightening nightmare, and another night we may sleep easy and peacefully.

Mindfulness of Sleep & Dreams teaches you to become familiar with your own experience of sleep, with a sense of acceptance and non-judgement, regardless of your unique challenges.

Awareness
Mindfulness practice teaches us to become more aware of our thoughts and emotions, so they don't over-take us.

In Mindfulness of Sleep and Dreams, you will build an awareness of your sleeping and dreaming mind, so that you don't let it over-take you.
Awareness of the present state-of-mind is incredibly valuable in navigating our world - day and night - as we learn to respond instead of react.

Awareness of your night time experience allows you access to creativity and problem solving, and insights into the sometimes challenging emotional processing that occurs in the dreaming mind.

Courage
Dreams can be scary, and take a toll on us. In this practice, with courage you will build a friendship with your sleeping mind.

Facing your fears and challenges, you learn that nightmares are the sign of a healing mind. You learn that your dream is a resource for natural emotional healing.

You become more curious than afraid.

You become a sleep warrior.
